holydaysBY AIRPLANE
From May to September there are direct flights every Saturday and Sunday leaving from Rome, Milan, Bologna, Parma and Verona.
There are no direct flights during the other months of the year and so it is necessary to change at Palermo.

BY FERRYBOAT
There are daily ferryboats leaving from Porto Empedocle (Agrigento) arriving in Lampedusa in eight hours.
There are regular ferries all year round leaving from Genoa, Livorno and Naples to Palermo, from where Porto Empedocle can be easily reached by car.
During the summer months, there is a fast ferry from Naples to Palermo, arriving in approximately four hours.
